Starlite’s First Calligraphy Event was officially launched at 15:30 pm, October 15, 2016, with a total of 11 calligraphy learners participated.

At the inception meeting, the General Manager emphasized that under the currently unfavorable economic situation, the Company, on the premise of making great efforts in its operation, had held a series of activities in order to improve its employees’ cohesion, encourage and support their hard work, and enrich their life. Mr. XU, chief of the Business Promotion Department, expressed in terms of three aspects, namely, cherishing the predestined relationship between and among employees; the training resources provided by the Company; and support and guarantee from the Company. The teacher also described the learning methods and requirements, hoping everyone able to be persistent in learning the calligraphy and cultivate their interests and hobbies thereto. A calligraphy performance was delivered at the year-end party held by the Company on January 14, 2017. Those who participated in the calligraphy performance, led by the general manager, wrote two calligraphy works – “星光灿烂”(Starlight) and “再创辉煌”(Create brilliance again). The teacher also improvised onsite his handwriting of a Chinese character "福", which means “Blessing” in English. The performances were very exciting, getting bursts of warm applauses from everybody.
