If your facility requires emergency, short-term or temporary physicians, CSU Locums can address your needs. We serve every type of healthcare facility — from smaller, private practices to extensive hospital complexes.
- We use many strategies to find a qualified provider to meet your criteria, and you have no obligation until you accept a physician for specific dates.
- Our in-house credentials department completes a thorough verification process to ensure that your candidate is qualified, licensed and credentialed for your position. Our extensive screening process includes a NPDB report, an AMA database report outlining malpractice history and a background check.
- CSU offers A-rated medical malpractice insurance for our providers.
Our unique single point of contact service means that you consistently work with the same staffing professional who understands your specific situation. You'll receive personal attention and accountability while we oversee all the details of your placement(s), from start to finish. Let us help with all your staffing requests.
- Because we understand the pressures you face, CSU has a full-service in-house travel company that works with the healthcare professional to make all the necessary arrangements for the assignment.
- A locum tenens agreement and assignment confirmation will initiate your contract. Fees are negotiated based on specialty, length of employment, shift and scheduling issues and other factors. At the end of each work week, the physician will submit a time sheet for your approval. CSU then provides you weekly or monthly invoices based on your preference.
- CSU will contact your facility after each assignment to review your experience. Of course, our staffing consultant is available to speak with you at any time should you have any concerns or questions.
